The Montane Featherlite 5°C Sleeping Bag is an ultra-lightweight and super-packable summer season sleeping bag that you can still take to high-altitude mountains where its anatomically designed construction will ensure your comfort while the materials ensure your comfort and warmth.

The Pertex Quantum shell fabric is exceptionally lightweight and breathable and its DWR treatment encourages water droplets to run off the surface rather than penetrate the fabric. The PEAQ Down liner is comfortable next to your skin and is also highly breathable. It is also conveniently fast drying, helped by the bag unzipping fully to a blanket shape for airing and drying hanging up.

And the 750+ fill power of the down completes the high-quality mix of synthetic technical and natural materials used for the Montane Featherlite 5°C Sleeping Bag.

Construction

• Outer and inner anatomically designed shape tapers around lower legs and curves around shoulders
• Offset vertical baffles across chest prevent cold spots

• Flipper-shaped foot box in lower leg area tapers from knees to ankles to help reduce cold spots; specifically tailored to cater for upright foot position

Zip

• Three-quarter length YKK Vislon zip is angled away from shoulder to prevent body contact whilst user is sleeping on side and to allow easier access from inside
• Fine microfleece facings and roll-over Velcro closure flap at top of YKK zip for extra comfort
• Two-way YKK Vislon zip for lower access or ventilation whilst zip is drawn up
• Sleeping bag zip opens fully at bottom to completely open sleeping bag to aid airing and drying
• Locking zip heads avoid unexpected zip opening
• Glow-in-dark zip pulls for easier night time location without head torch
• Single volume baffle behind YKK zip

Neck Baffle

• Neck baffle is specifically shaped to encase whole circumference of the neck
• Split drawcord arrangement in baffle enables further adjustment and pulls insulation closer to front or rear of neck

Upper Bag

• 3-D shaped hood design based on years of Montane clothing construction experience, in particular award-winning technical mountaineering jacket hood design
• Hood shaping prevents down migration and limits cold spots
• Split, colour-coded face drawcords control and adjust volume individually around upper and lower face; drawcords easily accessed from inside sleeping bag
