Worn under layers or on its own, the Montane Men’s Prism Vest is versatile and lightweight core body protection. It is built as a powerful combination of performance and comfort and designed for all manner of outdoor use.

Pertex Microlight is the outer fabric of choice, boasting exceptional Durable Water Repellency (DWR) as well as being completely windproof and fast drying.

The Prism Vest is filled with 40-gram Primaloft Eco insulation to give warmth and comfort whilst being extremely packable. An adjustable hem prevents breeze and heat loss, while a soft fleece beardguard around the face and mouth give extra comfort. For when temperatures plummet, there are also insulated deep hand pockets handily positioned clear of a backpack or climbing harness.

The Prism Vest stuffs into its right-hand pocket to pack right down, making it into a small pillow. It is machine washable and Nikwax Tech Wash can be used to maintain DWR.

Garment care

• The Prism Vest uses Pertex fabric which contains a Durable Water Repellency (DWR) as the first barrier in keeping you dry. Clean your garment in order to maintain this
• Machine wash in warm water at 30°C/86°F with a mild detergent. Montane recommends that you use Nikwax Tech Wash
• Do not use fabric softeners or bleach
• Drip dry
• Your vest may need occasional re-proofing to restore the DWR. Montane recommends Nikwax TX Direct
